lost in log-in

Some of my useres report getting stuck in login. They receive neither an invalid user message nor an invalid password message, they are just stuck, and nothing happens.
The problem is that I cannot replicate this issue. It does not happen on my devices. Also, comparing the circumstances of users reporting the issue, I cannot find any pattern in terms of operating system, browsers, device categories or weak internet connections. However, the issue is stable with specific users, at least mostly. There is only one person who overcame the problem, and we can’t explain why.
So if you have any clue, please let me know, since this is really damaging to my website’s reputation.
