Sorry for late response .. personal problems at the moment.
This feature was added before but caused problems so it needed alot of testing from my side so i had to remove it and is not added till the latest version. I will add this in the future but not at the moment.
What i mean is that if user closes the browser then inactive logout does not automatically logout user. This plugin currently only works when the browser is active and unclosed (tab).
Hope this clears your thoughts. Lemme knw if you have more questions. Thanks.

Following this thread. I am interested in the User logout on Browser/Tab close.

It appears this feature is not being looked at and perhaps it’s because, like a zillion other plugins, the developer has simply lost interest.
(Follow up) – This feature has been added in new update 1.8.0 – Auto Logout should happen even after browser is closed after 1 minute of browser tab being closed.

Yes, I closed the browser for 5 mins reopened it, went to the website and I was still logged in.

Is there a new update to the plugin? As I can’t see it on my side
Since, some users are having trouble with the new update regarding this functionality – site being logged out on click.

The beta plugin seems to work pretty good but I have just started trying it. Curious if there is a way to kill the session as soon as the browser is closed instead of having to wait 1 minute? This is something that I need for security for multiple users on one computer.
Other than this, the plugin is exactly what I was looking for!
