Logout does not work when the plugin is active

I have been experimenting with turning plugins on and off to trace a problem with my LOGOUT button refusing to work. It gives a 404 error and does not log you out. Once WP Hide login is deactivated, the problem goes away.

How does your secret logout URL look like, please ?

If it is a secret logout link, why would I publish it here? I don’t really understand your question to be honest. The plugin is not active right now, so everything is working as it should. It seems quite a few people are posting about problems at the moment. Also, with the slow reply, I cannot activate the plugin and wait five days with things not actually working on my site. I will try to help you trace the problem, but you will need to provide better guidance what you need.

I didn’t ask your secret slug but how the logout URL look like : https://mysite.com/secret/?lougout for example.

OK, now I understand, thanks for getting back to me. It looks like this –

https://mysite.com/my-account/customer-logout/?_wpnonce=33bfa4eb79

I also tried using – http://example.com/wp-login.php?action=logout

which was a suggestion found online.

Hello,

Ok. I understand you have a public login page enabling your users to log in.

2 things :
- WPS Hide Login is used to prevent users to find the login page. If your login page is public, WPS Hide Login is useless.
- Your plugin may be not compatible with WPS Hide Login. Your button is finding https://mysite.com/my-account/customer-logout/ whereas the right logout link should be https://mysite.com/secret-slug?action=logout
