Log in reloads have to login twice

We have been experiencing a recurring off/on issue with the login form. Where a user enters their credentials, submits the form and the login page reloads requiring them to resubmit the form. This is the same with all user roles.

It happens whether I use the Profile Builder widget on Elementor or use the the standard log in form shortcode.

Everything is up to date, except Elementor which has a conflict with the latest update and a Elementor extension. But this has been occurring for months so I am confident that is not the cause.

Have looked through your documentation and tried your listed fixes including adding the redirect snippet on https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/profile-builder/developers-knowledge-base/redirect/redirecting-users-login-based-user-role/

Error logs are showing nothing.
