    Hi all!

Here’s the deal… my uncle is a graphic designer he originally set up my site. When he did that he attached the site to his email address. He has stopped use of that email and no longer has access to it. In the meantime, I lost my debit card that my go daddy and word press were billed to. I replaced it but did not know the payment had failed as the emails were going to my Uncle’s dead email. When I figured out the site was down I called godaddy and updated the payment info and they said to just log in to wordpress and migrate the site over. Great, right? Except I can’t remember the password to log in to wordpress and I can’t reset it because the reset emails are going to the dead email address. I had to create a new log in separate from the one associated with my website just to post this. I have no idea how to fix this… if anyone can help I’d greatly appreciate it!

    Thanks!!

This article lists 7 completely different ways to reset your password. Any one of them will work and do the job. Find the one that’s right for you and use that: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/

I can’t get into the admin page because the page is down. I only have my username and that’s it. I don’t write code. I know this sounds pathetic but is there a phone number I can call?

A-If GoDaddy is the webhosting company of the site you are trying to login to….contact GoDaddy support team and ask for assistance to find the database in the area PHPMYADMIN.
All users and emails are listed in the USERS table.
You can change the email address in the USERS table.
There is no phone # for this volunteer forum.

B-The login details for creating a post in this support forum is not related to anything in/on your website.

Of course the login details are not related… I said I had to create a new log in in order to post this. If I had the log in info needed to post this I’d be able to log in to the site…

My Dad is a programmer. He’s on it.
