I installed version 1.22.0 and it worked for a couple of weeks. Today I corrected some errors but Accessibility Checker still displayed them. So I decided to uninstall the plugin and all it’s data to then reinstalled it. After reinstalling it, it stopped working. I noticed I now downloaded the newer version 1.22.1 and maybe because of some incompatibility with other plugins it wouldn’t work. So I installed version 1.22.0 again. It still wouldn’t work. There’s no error or warning or wooops message – there’s just the message “Loading…” as if it would try to find errors but won’t show any results. I tried it on three other websites and it worked on them. It’s like somethings broken after deleting and reinstalling it – even tough nothing else was changed on the website while doing so…

@daniaufner, are you seeing the “Loading…” text on a single post/page edit screen? If so, that may be coming from the WordPress meta box. Do you see any console errors? Right click on the page and select Inspect, then click the Console tab.

@stevejonesdev, I see it everytime I try to scan a page, doesn’t matter what page. It doesn’t do anything except what you see here:

There are a few console errors but my knowledge sadly stops here:
    – Uncaught ReferenceError: gtag is not defined
    – Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 503 ()
    – Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FAILED

Is one of these errors the reason the plugin stopped working?

    Hey @daniaufne,

If you visit the editor in the admin for this page does a scan run successfully there?

    Hey @williampatton,

I work with Divi, so I can’t use other editors..

Wow it’s resolved!! I went to pages and had to “edit” each page, even tough I can’t really edit them since I use the Divi builder. But this seems to solve the problem. Thanks guys!!

    Hi @daniaufner,

I expected that it may start working after you scanned it from the editor. I am not sure why the scan from the frontend didn’t work for you when openeing the highlighter widget but it could be related to using the Divi theme and changes they have made since we last tested it out.

We are making some changes to how the scanner works and I have added a note to make sure that the divi theme is tested directly as part of that work.

Anyways glad that this is working for you now, if you have any other issues or questions feel free to reach out and we will get back to you.
