I am experiencing two significant issues with the LiteSpeed Cache plugin when using it alongside Elementor on my website: [ link removed and expanded to link field ]

Issue 1: Margins Not Applied on Cached Pages

    • I have configured specific margins for my slideshow image in Elementor.
    • When I access the uncached version of the page by appending ?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm to the URL,
the layout appears as expected with no space between the header and the slideshow image.
    • However, on the cached version of the page ([ link removed and expanded to link field ]), there is a noticeable space that should not exist.
This suggests that my Elementor margin settings are not being applied correctly on the cached version.

Issue 2: Slides Widget Not Showing on Cached Pages

    • The Elementor Slides Widget is completely missing on cached pages ([ link removed and expanded to link field ]).
    • When I access the uncached version of the page by appending ?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm (/?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm), the slider works perfectly and appears as intended. (you won’t be able to test this right now since I’ve removed the Slides widget from the page already.

This behavior indicates a conflict where LiteSpeed Cache is preventing the Slides Widget from functioning correctly on cached pages.

    Steps I’ve Taken to Troubleshoot

    1. Tested the uncached version of the page using the ?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm URL parameter.
      • Results: The layout and slider display correctly.
    2. Purged all caches (LiteSpeed and browser including the one labeled in red).
    3. Added the homepage to the cache exclusions list to rule out a standard caching issue.
      • Results: The issue persists.
    4. Toggled all optimization settings on and off under LiteSpeed Cache, including:
      • JavaScript, CSS, and HTML Minify and Combine options.
      • JS Deferred Loading.
      • Lazy Load Images and other media-related optimizations.
    5. Turned off caching completely in the LiteSpeed Cache General Settings, but the issue persisted.
    6. The only way the page works correctly is:
      • When I deactivate the LiteSpeed Cache plugin entirely.
      • When I bypass the cache using the ?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm URL parameter.
      • When I log in to an account, since I have Cache Logged-in Users disabled.

This seems to confirm that the issue is directly tied to LiteSpeed Cache.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving these issues as they are impacting my website’s functionality and layout. Please let me know if you require any additional information, such as screenshots, server logs, or temporary access to diagnose the issue further.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your guidance.

@thecrazy1 Do not use short links in these forums, that has been abused in the past and is expanded when found. I have expanded yours into the link field.

That field is invisible to search engines and can only be seen by a logged in forum user.

I created a test page here so you can compare it to when it is disabled.

Before I proceed, could you kindly confirm that my existing image optimizations will not be lost?

image optm status will be remain as it is , if any doubt, it never hurts to do a backup beforehand.

I reset the settings to Presets > Essentials, and this resolved the issue! The Elementor slider widget is now displaying correctly, and my margin settings are also being applied.

I’ll reapply my previous settings one at a time to identify what was causing the conflict. I’ll report back once I have more details.

    Thank you for!

    Found it!

The issue was caused by the Page Optimization > HTML Settings > Remove Query Strings option. I didn’t expect this setting to interfere with the Elementor slider widget and margin settings, so it never occurred to me to disable it.

Thank you for your help—I’ll keep this in mind moving forward!

eh, I didn’t expect this could lead to such thing either
