    Hi there,

Can you please create a way to just go to “view” in the link library so it pops up a link I can hand out for all of the links in that category. I don’t want to have to create pages & use your shortcode. I have several categories.

    Thanks

I am not sure that I understand why you are asking for this. If Link Library automatically created a “page” to view links, then likely not be happy that they would not have control over the slug of this page. Then they would want configuration to specify the URL of this page. Then they would ask for ways to put thing before or after the list of links, etc…

A shortcode still seems to me to be the option that is easiest to use with the most flexibility to place the list of links where you want it.

That being said, if what you want is to be able to only have to make a single page with a shortcode, then be able to easily see a single library at a time on that page, you can activate the “Only show one category at a time” option under the Common section of the Library Configuration, and set the Switching method to HTML GET Using Slugs.

Once this is done, any link with the category slug will only display the links from that category. For example:

    https://matrix.net/link-library-page/?cat_name=third

Let me know if this helps and please consider donating to support this plugin’s development.

Yes, we do want it to have it’s own page, it doesn’t have to look gorgeous, but nicely done. We don’t have too have options although those would be nice too.

    Ok, we’ll find something else.

    Thanks
