link for files stored on my hosting server

Hi,
I am trying to link to a large mp4 file that I cannot upload to my media library because of its size. It is 480mb. So I uploaded it to the uploads folder for this year and month. However, it is always giving me a 404 not found error. My link looks like this: https://baingeo.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/filename.mp4.

Can you please help me figure out why this isn’t working? Do I need to do something different with my file link?
