Limiting posts on specific filter?

    I have 10 different filters, and I’m trying to make one called ‘Recent Projects’. I figure that since I am already ordering posts by date in descending order, I can simply limit the ‘All’ filter to the two dozen most recent posts and rename it ‘Recent Projects’. However there are a couple other filters with 24+ posts, and I don’t want to limit those. Is there an easy way to limit only one filter while leaving the others untouched?

    You mean 10 different grids?

    You can just create a new grid and use the “Limit Total # Items” option. That will only apply to that grid. Or am I misunderstanding?

    I think the problem is that I’m explaining it poorly 🙂
    Hmmm I wish I could include screenshots. I just edited the ‘page I need help with’ link to the exact page, my apologies for that not being correct initially.
    Basically I have a grid with an ‘All’ filter and then a taxonomy-based filter, which results in 9 more filters such as Creative + Design, Custom Packaging, etc. I changed the ‘All’ label to read ‘Recent Projects’ and then am trying to limit the results on that specific filter to 24 posts. I could set ‘Limit Total # of Items’ to be 24, but that would limit the posts on all other filters, which I’m trying to avoid. Does that make any more sense?

    Oh, now I understand what you’re trying to do.

    I’m afraid that’s not possible at the moment. What you could do is create category “Recent Projects” but then you’d have to update that all the time.

    Sorry, forgot to reply. Thank you for your response, we just decided to leave it as ‘All’ without a limit.
