Less than WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT?

    Hello, I’m running the WP Crontrol plugin on my site. On the Cron Schedules panel of that plugin, I see the error message/warning copied below. Should I be concerned? Thanks

     This interval is less than the WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT constant which is set to 60 seconds. Events that use it may not run on time. Super Page Cache – Purge Cache Cron Interval

    Hi @ln-cwm,

    WP Crontrol is just pointing out that the Super Page Cache – Purge Cache Cron Interval is set to 10 seconds, which is lower than WordPress’s WP_CRON_LOCK_TIMEOUT value of 60 seconds. Because of that, WP Crontrol warns that the event may be delayed.

    The plugin uses a short (10s) internal cron to manage and queue cache purge requests efficiently, and this is normal behavior. It’s not a sign of a misconfiguration or a broken cron system.

    If cache purging works correctly and site changes appear as expected, there’s no action required. The warning is informational only and can safely be ignored in this case.
