    I went to Independent Analytics from Matomo. Matomo was difficult to setup and maintain. I ran it on my own server and that was an additional cost. The reason I left Google is I just didn’t like how intrusive they are and no control over the information.

    I have been running Independent Analytics for a month now and enjoy how easy it is to run. It does have a plugin for MainWP but I’m hoping that the reports module will allow me to publish statistics along with my monthly reports for my customers as I did with Matomo.

    We will be releasing an update for the MainWP extension this week that will add data from IA into the Pro Reports.
