Hey jimleeder,
The gallery will load in an approximate order due to the masonry script rearranging things to fit. What is your objective? How are they arranged (e.g. title, date, etc)? Do you have a link to the page? We may be able to achieve the same result with masonry disabled.
Cheers
I’m listing them via date, and its on my localhost so won’t be able to link. What do you mean by disabling it? Where do you do that?
I found where to disable it and tested, but thats not whats required. The masonry effect with proper uninterrupted horizontal viewing is required.
Hey jimleeder,
I am so sorry I missed your last replies. I don’t seem to be getting email alerts consistently.
I’m not too sure that it is possible to have a masonry effect without changing the results’ order. The only way this could work is if all the results are the same size.
I’m currently working on a new plugin, which will address many flaws in catcus masonry. I will make sure to enable this functionality for a gallery with uniformly sized bricks.
Also, pagination will be built in by default.
Cheers
That sounds good, could you post on here when its fnished? Cheers π
Hey jimleeder,
I’m closing this thread to mark it off my list. Check out Cactus Masonry Plus for better sorting. This still has no lightbox and no infinite scroll – but it does have built in pagination. I’m hoping to add the missing features shortly.
Also, there is a support forum and website for both plugins now at cactus.cloud/support
