Latest Episode Not Showing Up

    The latest episode is not showing up at the top of the page. I followed the instructions from the Youtube demo and inserted the embedded code in the Excerpt section of the post. Any thoughts?

    Okay, to update, I can’t imbed within the post (it fails). The only way I’ve been able to work the player is to put the code within a paragraph. It will show up, but then the paragraph before it won’t show up in the Recent Posts section. I’m at a loss.

    Okay, can ignore the second comment. I’m able to imbed within the post with the Buzzsprout app. I still can’t get the most recent episode to show up at the top of the page, though.

    Hi,

    Are you certain that you have set up the Podcast category in Customize > Theme Settings, and that the “Display Newest Episode Block on Homepage” option is checked?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the response! I checked as you suggested and the issue was that at some point during my revisions, the Category got removed from the post. You saved my sanity!
