Hi,
Are you sure that’s because of the latest version? The last version adds a new feature but it nothing else has been modified, so I really don’t see how it could affect something.
Did you check your PHP Error Logs? Did you clear your cache?
I went thru the whole “lovely WP cycle”, caches, deactivating all plugins reactivating one by one (hence figuring out when Retina 2x was deactivated I was fine) and all that good stuff. On 3 sites with various different configurations, not all the same plugins etc.
I get this in console:
jquery-migrate.min.js:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
(index):1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
The jquery-migrate.min.js script is unrelated to Retina, it’s part of WordPress, and it’s to ensure backward compatibility. The “Failed to load resource” is a bit more interesting but I would need to see it with my eyes to look into it more.
Do you have a website on which you can have the WP Retina 2x running, and show it to me? That will be easier to understand the issue, right now, I have no clue 🙂
Sorry wasn’t thorough enough, it’s a conflict with:

but only with your newest version.. as I had both activated up to now (his last version is about a week old, and they played together fine).
We should ask Matthias to have a look as well, we are chatting often together actually.
Wait, which Retina method are you using in the settings?
Good 😀
I use picturefill
Both Matthias and I have tried, with RML + WP Retina 2x activated. Can we have a link to a page having issues?
