Language missing from sitemaps

I use WPML on a site with three languages: EN is original, and it has translations in FR and ZH. However, only one one of the two translated languages (ZH) is appearing in my sitemaps, except the first link.

For example:
https://vineyardsbordeaux.com/xml-sitemap/vineyards.xml
https://vineyardsbordeaux.com/xml-sitemap/post.xml

On each sitemap, the first link shows an “alternate” for both FR and ZH. For every other link, only ZH shows. Yes, there are FR translations for missing posts and vineyards, as you can see by visiting the site.

Can you pls tell me why the FR entries are missing?
