Keyword Focus Gone
-
This is happening throughout a few of our sites. It’s not a plugin I have checked that 3 times. Cleared all cache, everyone is up to date and on php 7.3 or 7.4. Users don’t have restrictions, in the gettings all meta boxes should show.
Please advise.

Hello @mengelman,
Can you please confirm if you meant that the Yoast metabox to add focus keyword is gone or that the focus keywords you have entered are gone?
Furthermore, SEO data and plugins settings are stored in the WordPress database. Yoast SEO doesn’t have the ability to automatically delete data from your database. If you meant that previous keywords are gone, you may want to check that the data you’ve entered in our plugin can still be found in the database. For example, the SEO title, meta description, and focus keyphrases are stored in the _postmeta table of your database.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
On my site:https://pclegko.ru/ not all meta blocks are also displayed. There is no focal keyword or text rating. I tried all possible solutions to the problem: disabled ALL plugins, set theme as default, tried to use a new browser. Nothing helped. I am attaching a screenshot at the link: https://yadi.sk/i/n3nZ9Wexe72Hig
@pclegko Please create a new issue if you are experiencing a similar problem as this helps us in tracking as this can be caused by many different variables (WordPress version, other plugins, etc).
Why should I create a new topic? You saw a screenshot – your product is not working properly. Tell me the solutions
@pclegko The forum FAQs explain the reason behind our request that you open a new topic here.
That said, I am confident that the issue is a conflict of some sort. You and the original poster are not likely to be running the exact same plugins and themes. Nor are you both using the exact same browser on the same device. This means that while the issue may appear the same; the cause could be completely different.
How to check for plugin conflicts
If the cause remains undetermined after checking for conflicts, please open a new topic detailing the issue and the troubleshooting steps you have completed. This will ensure that we can provide you with the best help; in the fastest way.
Are you kidding me??? I checked all conflicts, used the default wordpress theme. I even deactivated all plugins. I repeat: EVERYTHING IS DONE, THAT ONLY COULD BE DONE. I READ YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. DO NOT KEEP ME FOR AN IDIOT PLEASE. I don’t know how else to explain to you)))
@pclegko If you have already checked for plugin/theme conflicts and have already confirmed and the issue is still occurring, we would next recommend checking for any Javascript errors that are occurring as described here.
We also have a guide on troubleshooting a blank metabox with additional suggestions available at the following link: https://yoast.com/help/yoastseo-meta-box-is-blank/
Can you please try those suggestions and let us know whether any Javascript errors are occurring?
I checked java script – no errors. I looked through the console according to your instructions. I do not know what to do…((((((((((((((((((
I solved the problem! The problem was user settings. See screenshot: https://yadi.sk/i/uKdEh-IlX3hMOQ.
If the checkboxes are checked, then yoast seo does not work correctly. I do not understand why so? After all, the settings relate to the user, not to the publication. In any case, I see that many users have the same problem and do not know how to solve it. Add this solution to your help section.
@pclegko Can you please provide a translation of what settings these are? Unfortunately we are only able to provide in English.
If the settings are related to the settings for the keyword analysis, this article should also help serve as a guide for some of the settings: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-enable-disable-the-keyword-analysis/
