Does anyone have the Kale theme’s Stylesheet (style.css)? My 3yr old “helped” me while I was changing some code. I’m not very good at CSS yet and I’ve screwed it all up trying to fix what was messed up by her little fingers. I tried deleting and reinstalling the theme and that did not reset the stylesheet. I went into the zip file, found the style sheet and copy/pasted that in and it didn’t change anything. My entire site that I had created is gone. My I even imported the XML file I had from last week, and nothing is there. I have to start completly over now, and the theme is still not the way I had it. Can someone help me please? I’ve been trying to fix this for hours now, and I’m already way behind due to a mistake the hosting company made last week.

Yes restoring from an XML backup sounds like a good idea.
When I do a file restore, I put in a small subtle change like setting text red or something so that I know that I have really updated the right file, and that none of the cache things are in the way, afterwards I remove the hack.

I did the XML file back up import, but it made no difference. I mean, it was as if the XML file magically somehow adapted to the changes and not what it was a week ago. Which is really weird because the changes made last night wasn’t on the XML file last week!

Are you really sure you are viewing the site you restored ? Clear cache, try a new computer ?

Yep, I did both of those things. Right now, I’m working with the third party host to restore from last week when they created this domain and originally added my XML file to see if that works.

That did not work. I do not understand why the mistakes are overriding everything. Even after restoring the original files, downloading all new files, everything. It’s not making sense.
