    Hey, I’m new to SMTP setup and using WP Mail SMTP for basic site emails. After connecting a mailer, what’s the best simple way to confirm everything is working fine without changing too many options?

    Hi @jarod10

    I am glad to help.

    The first step is to send a test email from WP Mail SMTP > Tools to a couple email addresses:

    • If they go out fine, it means the WP Mail SMTP plugin is configured properly.
    • If you get an on-screen error there is a “See Full Error Log” button if you scroll a bit, click it to see more details about the error.
    • If you get a warning, there are links and or instructions on how to fix things.

    This will let you know if your site is ready to send emails. Then you need to test your forms, ecommerce emails, etc. To make sure they are properly set.
