Hi Ruben,
Sorry you feel it’s SPAM. Given the copious hours of work and effort and ongoing support that’s we’ve dedicated to this free plugin, a little bit of self-promotion of our other services does absolutely no-one any harm and doesn’t in any way affect the quality and service the plugin offers.
And, you can remove the message by clicking the button that says to remove the message. So there’s nothing constant about it.
Given the overwhelmingly positive feedback, both public and private, we’ve received for this plugin, we’ll not be removing our links any time soon.
Thanks for trying the plugin and your review.
Paul.
That button to remove the message actually does not work as advertised. It continues to show up.

This is the first I’ve been made aware of this, and I haven’t been able to replicate it.
But, I’ve added certain guards around the messages appearing for those who cannot set the user meta data for some strange reason. This would prevent it from showing repeatedly for those outside cases.
It’ll be included in the next release of the plugin.
Thanks.
I think the level of “self-promotion” in this plugin is very reasonable and unobtrusive. A free plugin of as high quality as this one deserves some self-promotion.
