Jetpack sharing: Add email mailto option

    Hi there,

    Jetpack recently disabled the email sharing feature. Maybe you guys could add an official/native email sharing option with mailto instead?

    I haven’t been able to add it myself with the custom Jetpack sharing option so far…

    Hi there,

    Sorry about the delay in getting to you!

    Can you let me know what’s happening when you attempt to add the filter to activate the email button? We decided to disable it because spammers found a way to exploit it.

    Another option to get the email sharing button back is to activate Akismet on your site, this adds an additional layer of security to our email sharing buttons.
