  • Hey there Paul!

This issue has already been resolved in the develop branch on github (https://github.com/aristath/kirki) so as soon as version 3.0 is released this will no longer be an issue.
Right now we’re testing this version (it’s a rewrite of a lot of things) so I don’t have an exact ETA.
As for the theme that uses the plugin, if it uses the plugin by embedding it in the theme instead of recommending it gets installed as a plugin then updating that may take a bit longer since it’s up to the theme developer.

We’ll try to get version 3.0 released ASAP, but we first have to be sure that everything works the way it’s supposed to. 🙂
Until then your client can manually install the development version on their site by downloading it from github.

Sounds great, thanks a lot for the update! 🙂
