Issues with padding and margin
-
Hey guys,
I hope you guys can help me out. We know the basics of WordPress and Webdesign, but have not been able to figure this out. It’s a few different questions and I hope you guys could share your opinions and perhaps enlighten us. Thanks in advance.
1. http://imgur.com/a/ZhmkI. The margin right on the widget texts (the ones below Skab overblik and Nyttige links) is way too much compared to the rest of the elements in the footer. We’re trying to adjust the margin this element has to the right side, but no matter what I do or look for in the inspection I cannot find anything related to it. I am worried it cannot be done with CSS? And if not how do we go about it. I’d greatly appreciate any help. It can be inspected on loverne.dk
Red is how we do not want it (how it is) and green is how we want it between all elements. See it here: http://imgur.com/a/9UuUr
2. We’ve a responsive code and it seems to work very well. However, the other day we made a bunch of new boxes with a lot of padding on the frontpage and they’re displaying very weirdly on some screensizes. We’re not entirely sure why. It works on 17″ and above. This is how it is supposed to look and how it looks on big screensizes = http://imgur.com/a/7xCoe. This is how it looks on smaller screens = http://imgur.com/a/CzrMt.
So to sum it up, we’re basically looking for a way to make the h3s work better once the size gets smaller. Is it possible to keep them on one line? If not is there a way to center the elements under each under when they go to two lines? We tried to add the code center, but it still seems to not be centered once two lines long.
3. The purple box in the middle has a different padding than the blue box on the left and the orange on the right. This is because there is more text inside of it which fills it out. The padding is made so that it works perfectly on my computer screen 24″. How do you make something like that fill the entire bottom on all screensizes? It works on mobile and big screens, but on 13″ “15” etcetera the padding isn’t enough.
Thanks a lot. I hope someone is willing to take a look at it, and see if any of it can be fixed relatively easily.
