Is updraft plus safe

    Hi,
    for speed reasons i save the backups updraft plus is making on my server directly. Is it safe for me to keep the backups there? Couldn’t hacker gain access to these backups and get access to my website? Is there anything i can do to protect the backups on my server?

    Hi,

    Yes, that is possible. We recommend you keep seperate copy of your backup that is not accessible or connected to the web like an external storage. There are protection measures but is only availble in premium like database encryption and UpdraftPlus Lock Settings.
