• The plugin works but it sends 2 emails for some weird reason.

The first email adds a long URL parameter to the blog post URL for example: https :// site-name.com/?tva_skin_id=58/page/2/page/2/feed/page/2/page/2… (and it continues like that to make it one long & weird URL but the link still loads the blog post because it’s just a parameter added on to the blog URL)

The second email sent is the correct blog post URL without the issue above.

Any way to make it only send the blog post URL without the extra parameter stuff?

    Hi @ll09,
    Thanks for your message.

This usually happens when a plugin or theme is doing multiple publish actions and so BNFW is sending out notifications for each. To narrow down the cause, please can you make your way through this document and let me know how you get on?

    • #1 & #2 – all up to date
    • #3 – Already installed
    • #4 – We use WP Rocket
    • #5 – We can’t disable all plugins. Some plugins built the theme
    • #6 – Same as above

The test email sends with the shortcodes [email_user_firstname] [post_title] [post_excerpt] & [permalink]

I forgot to mention the first email fills out [post_excerpt] but the second email with the correct permalink skips it.

I’m going to remove [post_excerpt] from the plugin and see if it resolves the issue. This plugin is only used once a week so I wouldn’t have results until the next send.

But the Launch Thrive Architect button shows up by the editor in this plugin.

    Thanks @ll09 for testing.
The only way to work out what the issue is is to switch to another theme and deactivate the other plugins.
It sounds as though the theme or one of the plugins that the theme requires is the culprit though.
Unfortuantely, it would be difficult to provide support for a particular theme/plugin until we know more.
