Third question (sorry!): is there a way to set it to allow users to specify their own amount?

Update: forget question 2. I’ll go for post-processing with return URLs and confirmation through IPN. πŸ™‚

@tiero, That may not be possible since the data is posted directly to PayPal.

IPN URL is automatically generated by the plugin. So there is nothing for you to configure. As long as you have it enabled in your PayPal account, the plugin should be able to process new sale notification.

Thanks for the reply. Figured out 2 and 3 (just needed an approach from a different angle), but the IPN thing… it has to be set to something or PP won’t accept it. Should I set it to the main site URL?

If it’s a required a field you can just set it to your main site URL for now (The plugin will override it anyway).

Tried messing around with it for a while, but it kept throwing errors in the debug log (invalid transmissions and stuff). Found an alternative that just does the IPN and, since I don’t need the button producer, switched to that.
