    Hi

I could be in the wrong category here – sorry!

When I try to Pin to Pinterest it tells me that its unable to fetch the image. My service provider has unblocked hotlinking protection in the cpanel and on cloudflare. This didn’t help.

I am using Virtue Premium by Kadence themes, Nextscripts SNAP and Beaver Builder Page builder. My website is http://www.tranquilitytarot.com

I contacted Nextscripts and they referred me to their FAQ page which I have read several times. The only thing that could be a problem is that my Images have an invalid url? I have recently attached all images to their posts and pages (which made no difference also). I really don’t know how to fix this. It used to work fine, then suddenly a couple of months ago it stopped working.

I’m not tech savvy and don’t know much about the technical side of things.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,
    Kristie

  • Hi Kristie30,

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins – no success. I will try switching themes.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hello Kristie30,

Deactivated all the plugins and reactivated one by one with no success, means that your plugins are working well without any conflict. If now switching themes does not resolve your pinterest issue it means that is not a theme conflict.

Be sure to link directly to the source as Pinterest doesn’t allow redirects or URL shorteners like bit.ly

I’run out of ideas, so I’m stepping aside now. I would give a try to Pinterest Help Center

Thank you so much for helping.

I ended up talking to one of the Pinterest support people & apparently they were unable to access my site. I had to contact my web host. It turned out they had to remove the challenge for USA traffic.

All fixed – very happy πŸ™‚

    Hi Kristie,

You are welcome! I am glad I was able to help.

    Harris.
