Invalid Data when installing update

    I’ve had this happen on a couple of sites this afternoon when updating Hestia free theme. Installation proceeds as normal until it has removed the old version then it errors out with “invalid data provided” and my websites are stuck in maintenance mode. The theme folder is completely gone when checking via FTP. The fix for this was to manually upload the new version via FTP and then delete the .maintenance file from the root directory. Both sites are back up and running. Not sure if this is a bug in WordPress or something with the theme itself.

    Hi @sysopsavant,

    Thank you for letting us know about this. It’s the first time we got this feedback. From the details you gave it might be related to WordPress, but we’ll investigate this in the next days to see if we can replicate it, to be sure it’s not something related to the theme.
