Internal server Error in Notes

Hi,

My client failed the payment with Paypal due to this error:

Failed to process the payment. Please try again or contact the shop admin. [INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR] An internal server error has occurred. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-INTERNAL_SERVICE_ERROR PayPalGateway.php:500 [INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR] An internal server error has occurred. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-INTERNAL_SERVICE_ERROR OrderEndpoint.php:313 Lo stato dell’ordine è cambiato da In attesa di pagamento a Fallito.

Do you know what happened?

Hello @graficavillcom

I would recommend to have a look in your server php error log. There you can find what may cause the issue since it is a 500 internal server error.

I think the reason why the payment process cant be successful. Please ask you web admin or web hoster to check the server error log file.

Please let me know what is the error in the file.

On the server the only error I found The day the order was made is this:

WARNING: [pool http://www.XXXXXXXXX.it] child 1254 said into stderr: “sendmail: warning: inet_protocols: disabling IPv6 name/address support: Address family not supported by protocol”

Do you think it’s related to Paypal connection?

that’s just a warning but no error.

Also, it can be possible your issue is related to PayPal itself. I recommend to submit a ticket with the to https://www.paypal-techsupport.com/app/home because this might be an internal error from Paypal.

There may have been a temporary service disruption at PayPal resulting in this error. But errors like this are not expected to persist.
