Installing Dokan-Lite

    I have downloaded Dokan Lite and have tried uploading it to my wordpress site, however, eahc time I try to upload it, it fails because it is missing the style.css stylesheet. How do I get this?

    Hi vnac,

    The style.css file is used in WordPress themes, not plugins. Since Dokan Lite is a plugin, it doesn’t require a style.css file to activate.

    If you’re encountering an issue where WordPress is expecting a style.css file and failing to upload Dokan Lite because of it, it’s likely because you’re trying to upload it through the WordPress theme uploader instead of the plugin uploader.

    To install Dokan Lite correctly, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
    2. Go to “Plugins” > “Add New”.
    3. Click on the “Upload Plugin” button.
    4. Choose the Dokan Lite plugin file a .zip file that you downloaded.
    5. Click on the “Install Now” button.
    6. After installation, click on the “Activate Plugin” link to activate Dokan Lite.
