install wordpress.com stats plugin

    I just transferred my wordpress.com blog to wordpress.org. noticed need a plugin for stats. i need a step by step guide to intall it. how do i create a stats directory in the plugins directory?

    Go to Plugins/Add New in your admin panel, search for “WordPress.com Stats,” and click the “Install” link.
