Insert not working

    Hi TM,

    This issue seems to be back after updates. I’ve held off getting in touch but thought I should. Perhaps we can “nut it out”?

    I’ve disabled all plugins and changed the theme. Once I hit Insert, the modal window disappears but no shortcode is inserted. I’m definitely in Visual editor mode this time and not Text 🙂

    Is there any information you’d need. So long as it’s not published I can provide access details. I use this plugin on a weekly basis so interested in any way I can help fix this issue for myself but also for others.

    Hi @catchlight,

    Sorry to hear that. I will love to get access to experience it and see what’s happening, comparing with my test environment. You can do a temp account and delete it when we’re done. You might be able to send me a direct message.

    I quite busy with my actual job but I will try to have a look as soon as you send me the details

    Hi @catchlight,

    Let me know if you still need help with the plugin. If you do and while you wait for me to fix the issue, you can always copy and paste the shortcode that is generated when trying to insert a track.

    Hi TM,

    Not sure how to send a DM on WordPress.org. Happy to send you that though if we can do it securely.

    Here is an example of the shortcode I’m trying to insert.
    [soundcloud id=’460251786′ height=’false’]

    These are going into ACF fields but I’ve turned ACF and everything else off and they still don’t seem to work. Besides that, they were working before so it’s a weird one.

    I’m having the same trouble as @catchlight. I click Insert and the modal window disappears but no shortcode is inserted into the post.

    I am really sorry for the delay on fixing this bug and I will do my best to fix it as soon as I will get some time off my regular job.

    Hi @jonruddat and @catchlight,

    I’ve pushed a fix to the development version. If you could install this version manually that would be great as it would help test the fix.

    The issue had to do with the latest WordPress release which, I imagine, is using a newer version of TinyMCE (the editor). The fix only works with the “Visual” tab and the shortcode “placeholder” image only appears when saving/updating the post/page, but that means the plugin is usable again.
