Initial Setup Help – Second Domain not working

Hi I am new to wordpress and want to use your plugin to run two domains in parallel. By this I mean I want to run http://www.SITE-1.com and http://www.SITE-2.com as the same website. If a user goes to WWW. SITE-1.COM or http://www.SITE-2.com they will see the same thing but the URL will not change.

I predominantly use WordPress through the Graphical User Interface. I have purchased two domains and have them hosted on the same service. I’m using GoDaddy.

I read this thread (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/help-needed-with-multiple-domain/) in the Support topics and turned off forwarding SITE-2.com to SITE-1.com in my GoDaddy hosting service.

Under the General Setting on the Word Press GUI this is what I see:

Currently when I go to http://site-2.com it shows the URL as available for purchase with no website currently at this location. I am running WordPress 5.6.2 and I have the latest version of the Multiple Domain plugin.

Any ideas what to try next. Is there some other setting I have missed.

Javik, thanks for the response. I will provide DNS settings this week.

When I saw the plugin was no longer supported I started to work on creating a 2nd wordpress installation and running the two websites in parallel. This has turned out to be a disaster.

Very glad you guys are supporting this again. More to come soon. –Dean

Hey there, sorry for that late answer. I’m a bit busy currently.
When you try to open your second domain can you see your WordPress or not? If not, you may have a DNS Problem or your Webserver is misconfigured. For me, your DNS settings look good.

If your WordPress comes up, when you access https://site1.com you just need to set https://site2.com in the plugin configs.

If your WordPress comes up, when you access https://site1.com/wordpress you need to set https://site2.com/wordpress in the plugin configs.

I hope that is understandable. My english skills are… interesting sometimes.
