Increase Shipping cost based on quantity

Hi all,
I’m wanting to increase the cost of shipping on specific items based on quantity. So for Example, if someone orders between 0 and 20 of item A, the shipping cost would be as standard, but any more than 20 and an extra £2 would be added to the cost.
I have attempted to use plugins with table rates, but they require an upgrade to the pro version for this function. I have also tried using a weight based shipping plugin, but it has tax enabled as standard and I cannot find a way to disable other shipping methods for the items I want to be calculated this way.
Does anyone know of a way to achieve this?
