I’m experimenting with different column counts and spacing in the gallery, and it looks perfect on my 27-inch monitor. But when I check on my laptop or phone, the gaps between images become uneven. Sometimes two columns are closer together than the others.
I’m using fusion grid with auto spacing, and I tried resetting settings, but nothing changes. Is there any option to set a fixed padding in pixels or percentages for all screen sizes? I’d love to keep a consistent layout across all devices. Also, if there’s a custom CSS snippet to lock spacing, please share!

    Thanks for your detailed message.

If you notice inconsistent spacing between thumbnails on different devices while using the Fusion Grid with auto spacing, the most likely cause is a CSS conflict with your WordPress theme. Some themes apply their own margin or padding rules that override the gallery’s spacing settings.

Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) – if the spacing becomes even, the issue is theme-related. Make sure all caches (browser, plugin, and CDN) are cleared after adjusting layout settings.

If you’d like, please share a link to your gallery page – we can check which CSS rules are affecting spacing and help you apply an exact fix for consistent results across all screen sizes.
