Hi there,
1.)
The WP community has a good support article on optimization here:

2.)
In the plug-ins you listed, you don’t seem to be using any optimization or cache plug-ins?
You may want to try them by searching “cache” or “optimize” in the plug-in directory:

Hi @t-p and @stevenlinx
Thanks for your messages.
Yes, it has been a bit tricky to figure out which plugins I would need.
For instance, I previously had a conflict with Jetpack and Smush with image compression. I continued to receive the error despite disabling the Jetpack image compression option and only using Smush.
Also, In the past 6 months, I followed all the webmaster guidelines and got all my core web vitals in the green (good) zone. But since the latest WP update a month or so ago, the site speed has been atrocious.
So today, I downloaded and activated W3 Total Cache and WP-Optimize plugins and deactivated Smush and WP DB-manager. I hope all the settings are correct and that this will help the site.
Because my site did not change much in the past few months, I do not understand how my site speed has gone from being ‘excellent’ to ‘poor’.
I think another challenge I have faced is to understand and deploy plugins that will help me with multiple issues (cache, lazy load, image compression, minify, etc).
