Improve LDAP groups authentication

Hi Aaron,
it is possible to improve the ldap group authentication?
- it is possible to specify different search bases for the user and group lookup? I think mostly the user and group path in LDAP are in parallel branches/paths of the ldap directory.
- it is possible to specify a different network-admin group and a separate group per wordpress site? Of course it would be very helpful to specify a network admin group and a site member group
