Importing SVG images | WordPress.org

Hi, the import of png images works just fine but the svg images won’t get imported. The error says that the file is not valid. I’ve found this thread (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/svg-import/) and copied the code to my funtions.php but it still does not work. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hey @miuosz,

It wouldn’t be necessary to use that snippet anymore to add support for SVG images, but we’d need to have more information to say why those images are said to be invalid.
