import posts tool – automate user import

Hi everyone,

I am trying to migrate a large site (about 9000 posts and 1800 users) into a multisite install. When I use the import tool (under tools tab) to upload my file, it takes me to a page where I need to enter users names. This would take me hours to do by hand. Anyone aware of a plugin out there that can help me with this issue? Thanks all
