Image load failure through Photo Gallery plugin

I need a photo gallery that can handle hundreds of images each time I create a new page for a new estate or moving sale…and I need it to act fast when there is a rush.

I installed the Photo Gallery plugin Apr 2018 and it worked fine up until a couple of months ago when the image loading continuously failed. I don’t know if it was an update or what, but I deactivated all the other plugins and tried again, but no use. I also installed the plugin on a different WP site and the same photos uploaded OK, so it has to do with this particular site itself, but I don’t know where.

I had to go to Plan B that required to me to use CPanel & Upload a zip file of the images into the Photo Gallery folder and then add them to the gallery using the plugin & recreate thumbnails. This is not how this is supposed to work, so I need advice on how to get this plugin working so that the images upload through it like it is meant to.

Do I have to Deactivate & Activate the plugin to see if that will help, and if so will I lose the gallery that I currently have, because I cannot afford to have this site down…ever!

We are sorry for the inconvenience you have faced!

Please note that currently Photo Gallery has an issue related to many images that are in the same folder. Our development team is working on fixing this issue now. It will be fixed and will be available in our new version of the Plugin in two weeks.

As regarding deactivation & activation of the plugin, you will not lose any data, however, it is hardly going to help.

Thank you for the reply and attention to this matter. The notion to deactivate & reactivate the plugin was from another thread related to this problem provided by your tech support to another customer. Tnx, Diane

The 1100 x 1100 pixels png pictures are overlapping in the photo gallery. There are only 7 images in this gallery.
What do I do wrong ? Thank you!

We have checked the website, but could not find the gallery. Could you please post the link to the page where your gallery is published?
