Hi @bongo,
Thanks for reaching out — it sounds like you’re running into a few different issues, including login security, account connection, and possibly a plan mismatch. Since some of this involves private account details and billing, the next step would be to contact us directly through our secure support form. That way, we can take a closer look at your account from our side.
Make sure to include a link to this forum thread in your message so we have the full context when reviewing your case:
To help us investigate more quickly, please include the following in your message:
- Could you let us know where you’re seeing the 403 error and, if possible, share a screenshot so we can better understand what’s happening?
- Could you share a bit more about what you mean by Jetpack being “partially deployed”? For example, are some features working while others aren’t?
- Details about the Instagram feed issue — is it through a plugin or Jetpack’s social features?
We’ll be happy to take a closer look and help straighten things out!

Fujifika, thank you for your response. You wrote:

Unfortunately I am unable to attach images from my drive on this form with only the option to “insert from url” . So I will write the content of the message:
Jetpack: “Enter the address of the wp site you’d like to connect.
My site.
“couldn’t connect. we received a 403 error when trying to access your sit’s XMLRPC endpoint. The app needs that in order to communicate with your site. Please contact your hosting provider to solve this problem.
With the option to “find your site address”
- Could you share a bit more about what you mean by Jetpack being “partially deployed”? For example, are some features working while others aren’t?
Again, a screen capture would have helped. Under my products in Jetpack on my site in 7 day highlights:
only “protect” is in effect with a green tick mark. The rest, boost, social video press, ai etc. say needs user account.
- Details about the Instagram feed issue — is it through a plugin or Jetpack’s social features?
I was able to use smash baloon to add feed in 2022. However, it stopped updating soon after. And did not work ever since, even with spotlight or wp ocean theme.
Hi @taniasen,
Thanks for your follow-up and the details provided.
We were able to check your site and found that Jetpack is unable to connect because requests to your XML-RPC endpoint are being blocked by your site’s security service (likely Cloudflare or Sucuri).
You can already start by checking with your hosting provider, Cloudflare, or Sucuri support to make sure they aren’t blocking XML-RPC requests from Jetpack servers.
At the same time, to properly continue assisting you, please contact us directly by email here.
Once you email us, you’ll be able to upload screenshots and we can work with you much faster and more effectively.
We’ll be ready to continue troubleshooting once we hear from you there!
Best regards,
