Identify Attached Dropbox Account

    Hello,

    I’ve taken over a website for a client and the installed version of Updraft is set to back up to a Dropbox account. Before making any decision about moving the backups to a different Dropbox account, I’m trying to find the current backup location.
    Is it possible to identify the Dropbox account from within the website or the website database?

    If you search your log, you should be able to find the account owner.

    Hi Vupdraft,

    I’ve looked at the Updraft backup log file and it doesn’t identify the Dropbox account being used. Below is an extract of the log file where Dropbox is mentioned (I’ve removed session ID’s etc, where necessary…

    If you goto the Settings tab, in the Dropbox settings you should be able to see the account owners name.

    Hi vupdraft,

    I can see the Dropbox account owners name there. It doesn’t give me the associated email address, but it’s great that I now have a person to contact about the Dropbox account.
