I REALLY wish I had puchased the professional version

Hi Again,

Wow, today I learned a valuable lesson. When I started working on this website for a non-profit organization I belonged to, I figured I would have to do a lot of work myself rather than pay for a professionally developed theme or for support because I know that they would want me to save costs. So, I’ve been trying to make a few customizations with your theme, and for the most part have had great luck since it is so easy to understand your code.

But, I discovered that one of my customizations had created an undesired side-effect (something all software developers are keenly familiar with!), and screwed up the “responsiveness” of the theme. I figured fixing this was probably beyond my capabilities, so I went looking on your website for information on paying for support in case I needed it. But, much to my dismay, or my elation, however you want to look at it. I found that the professional version of the Preference Theme has ALL of the customizations I was trying to make to my free version!!!! I am extremely embarrassed to find out that I could have saved myself hours and hours and hours of debugging if I has just spent the $39 to buy the professional version! Although, I do have to say that I’m extremely proud of myself for how quickly I have been able to pick up on all of this stuff since I was a total WordPress newbie 4 weeks ago. I think my 30 years of software and system engineering experience in other programming languages came in handy when trying to learn php, html, css, and wordpress for the first time.

So, I would like to thank you very very much for the invaluable learning experience 🙂 But, given that the professional version of your theme has so many awesome features, I just purchased it and I can’t wait to use it!
