I must be doing something wrong

I installed the plug in, added a few photos, incerted the short code in to a page. opened the page, but it just shows the short code as follows:

[wppa type=”cover” album=”1″ size=”550″ align=”center”]Any comment[/wppa]

I deleted the plugin, reinstalled. re did the link and it still shows the short code rather than the photo album. how do i correct this?
