    Hello
I am having a significant issue with your Security Optimizer plugin.

I use Hostinger and have migrated my websites from Siteground. The plugin functions correctly but does not display anything and causes me access issues.

When I want to change something within the plugin, I can’t see anything. If I click on “inspect,” the browser console reveals six errors, almost all of which are 404 errors.

Basically, it doesn’t load the files from the server correctly, and I don’t understand why. The problem is caused by the URL that your plugin tries to load.

The correct path should be domain.com/wp-content/plugins/sg-security/…., but in this case, a completely wrong path is generated -> domain.com/home/u121650806/websites/WtJ3Q3uz3/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sg-security/….

I thought this was due to the fact that I had transferred the site from SG to Hostinger. Instead, I tried creating new demo sites from scratch and I get the same error.

    Can you help me?

These are screenshots of what I see.
From my WordPress dashboard, I try to use the plugin, but nothing loads.

These are the errors I see in the console…

I have already contacted Hostinger support and Siteground support several times, and they tell me that the only option is to write to you.

    Hello @udstudio,

Our plugin is designed to dynamically generate URLs based on your site’s configuration and does not hardcode or prepend specific server paths to URLs. This means that the paths you are seeing are not directly generated or modified by our plugin.

Given that you have migrated your sites from Siteground to Hostinger, it is possible that Hostinger’s server configuration or settings might be affecting how paths are constructed or interpreted. This could be causing the incorrect paths to appear and lead to the 404 errors you are encountering.

I have tested the plugin on my personal website, and this issue does not occur, which suggests that it may be specific to your website’s setup or hosting environment.

I recommend reaching out to Hostinger’s support team to investigate whether there are any server-side configurations or settings that might be affecting the URL paths.

Yes, but there are no problems on websites created on Siteground. Here too, the plugin works correctly because I changed the classic default WordPress link /wp-admin to a custom one, and it works correctly.

The problem is that WordPress, in the site control panel, does not load the plugin files (CSS, js, and images) correctly.

    This is because:

WordPress correctly takes the URL of my server where the plugin resources are located to make it work.

Security Optimizer: the plugin, on the other hand, does not take the correct URL from which to retrieve the resources.

Hostinger and their technical support tell me that the problem is within the plugin’s PHP.

Unfortunately, we are unable to specify the exact reason for the incorrect URL paths you’re experiencing. This behavior is not typical of our plugin, which is designed to dynamically generate URLs based on your site’s configuration without hardcoding or manually altering server paths.

Given that the issue seems to be specific to the Hostinger environment, and since our tests have not replicated this problem, it suggests that there may be server-specific configurations affecting the plugin’s operation. As a result, we are limited in our ability to provide a direct solution from our end.

I recommend continuing to work with Hostinger’s support team to investigate any server settings or configurations that might be influencing the plugin’s URL handling. If they can identify any specific server-side adjustments, it could help resolve the issue.

But did you run your test on a Hostinger or SiteGround plan?

I reached out to our plugin developers, and they will investigate the cause of the issue. Although we can’t provide a specific timeline for when the issue will be resolved, I recommend keeping an eye on the plugin’s changelog. This will allow you to regularly check for updates and see if the issue is addressed in a future version.
