Hueman RIP?

    The theme hasn’t received any update singe August 2022 despite a lot of people complained on gallery bug and the developer promised to fix it by an update 3 months ago. But there’s still no any update. I fixed the bug by recreating my child theme, but it doesn’t really matter if the theme is abandoned. I would like to see any comments from devs.

    I share your concern. The lack of both updates and support since the end of 2021 could, of course, be due to problems (personal or work-related) that the developer is facing.

    Prior to December 2021 the theme was frequently updated. Then followed an unusually long period (6 months) with no updates and little support. Hueman was finally updated with much-needed bug fixes in the summer of 2022. Since then no updates and very little/no support. There is a large number of support threads and questions that have not been addressed at all, especially in the last year.

    BTW: The officially recommended plugin to Hueman, i.e. Hueman Addons, has been removed by WordPress. The notice says: This plugin has been closed as of December 28, 2022 and is not available for download.

    I hope the developer is ok and will find time to check the support forum and also issue updates to the Hueman theme. I have used it since 2014 and I like it a lot.

    I also share this concern having almost a thousand blogs with this theme. At the time I was in contact with Nico, a developer from Nice, but no more news. The Twitter account has not published since November 2021. I’m really worried.

    I also hope that the author has not disappeared and will continue to work on this theme. This is one of the best WP themes and I have been using it for many years.

    Hi. I have send a mail to contact@press… , email address where i had contact in 2018 with this Nico, no answer since 3 weeks. Normally i had first a auto-respond, but there is no more auto-respond… Very embarrassing

    There’s an account that’s considered as a theme author, and there are some new replies from it dated 2 days ago. Still have hope that the theme is not abandoned.

    To be honest, I was about to buy the PRO pack from Hueman, but it makes me doubt that the project might be abandoned… I will wait to see if someone responds affirmatively to a continuation, because it does not give confidence that there are no answers to questions or updates for so long.

    It looks like that a theme creator’s account has some activity on this forum but only related to other theme Customizr. Meanwhile, I found a bug on the clean Hueman version.

    I have doubts that Hueman will be supported because this theme is ignored by the developer… I made a negative review.
