“[Site] is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500 wordpress”

I was trying to load a picture into the media library when I saw that it didn’t work and gave me an HTTP error. Shortly after I couldn’t access my site at all. I can’t access my dashboard, so I’m not able to disable all the plug-ins from there.

I looked in the logs and found

How do I access my site to disable the Google Analytics plug-in? Any ideas why this may have happened? Is there a way to disable the GA plug-in without messing with the rest of them?

    Thanks

I ended up FTPing to my server and changing the name of the Google Analytics folder in order to deactivate the plugin. This solved the problem immediately.
