I use <br> all the time in heading elements. What element are you trying to use the break tag in where it isn’t allowed?
It‘s not a normal heading.
Seems like it is a problem of the elements made by the theme itself. The Elementor-elements accept the break tag.
I assume i need to contact the theme author?

Have you tried to temporarily switch your theme to a default WP theme, such as Twenty Sixteen?
If it solves you issue, it may be coming from your theme.

As the elementor widgets come with this theme, there is no sense in deactivating…
The normal elementor Widgets accept html tags as we discussed above.
