I’ve been using this plugin for years and it’s been great, so thank you for providing it!

I just recently noticed that on a few sites that use the html attribute in the shortcode, and that attribute begins with a number, the map doesn’t load and there’s a console error that says, “Unexpected number at . . . “

I’ve played around with some different ways to circumvent the issue, but to no avail. The link I provided is a page on a demo site that I use. The attribute in that instance is html=”222 West Hudson Spearfish SD 57783″

As it turns out, the websites where I was having this issue did not have a Server API Key created or added in the plugin settings. Creating that key and updating the settings solved the problem.

    G’day John,

That’s curious, I’ve taken a copy of the script output at that test page and will have a play with it. Having a server API key means doing the address lookup server-side, not browser-side, so should not affect it. Interesting! Thanks for reporting.

    cheers,
    Ross
