How to use this within a Divi builder site?

    You can either use their Code module or Text module and paste the plugin shortcode into it.

    One minor request: is there a way to render the date in the European format?

    I currently see 10/30/2018 to signify October, 30th but here in Italy and most of Europe we’d use 30/10/2018 for the same day (DD/MM/YYYY).

    Not easily. The Pro version has that ability. For the free version you can modify this plugin file on line 73.
